Introduction: APPM President Danny Gawlowski

Drones offer journalists  a powerful and compelling new tool for visual storytelling. They also provide imagery for turning real world landscapes and structures into immersive, annotated, 3D video game-like environments that provide audiences new immersive experiences.  We’ll look at recent drone journalism projects, hear where the technology is headed and discuss how it could impact journalism in the future.
